摘 要:该研究应用外语学习冒险理论(Ely),采用实证定量问卷调查方法,对云南某高职院校学生英语学习的冒险观念和冒险行为进行了研究。结果发现:高职生在英语学习中冒险观念与冒险行为不一致,多数学生认为冒险有益于英语学习,但在实际学习中却较少冒险;非英语专业与英语专业高职生、文科与理工科高职生、男生和女生在冒险观念以及冒险行为上存在差异;在冒险水平为中等时,高职大学生的冒险行为与英语水平呈高度正相关。This paper makes a study on the risk-taking concept and the risk-taking behavior of students in a higher vocational college in Yunnan Province by applying the risk theory of foreign language learning(Ely,1986)and adopting the method of empirical quantitative questionnaire survey.The results are as follows:the risk-taking concept and the risk-taking behavior of higher vocational college students in English learning are not completely consistent,and most students have realized that risk-taking is beneficial to English learning,but they take fewer risks in actual learning;to some extent,there are differences in the risk-taking concept and the risk-taking behav⁃ior between non-English majors and English majors,liberal arts and science and engineering students,male and female students;at the intermediate risk-taking level,the risk-taking behavior of higher vocational college stu⁃dents is highly positively correlated with their English level.
