摘　　要：一家澳大利亚的机构于本周发布新报告称,长达1400英里的大堡礁已经历了第六次大规模白化。原本色彩鲜艳的海洋生态系统,因水温升高已有91%受到影响。随着气候危机的加剧,此类灾害的涌现愈加频繁,也促使韦特海姆姐妹一一克里斯汀和玛格丽特这样的艺术家以这些濒危物种为主题创作出富有冲击力的展陈作品.A new report released this week by an Australian agency says that the 1,400-mile Great Barrier Reef has undergone its Lsixth mass bleaching.About 91 percent of the brightly colored marine ecosystems were affected by this most recent catastrophe,which occurs when water temperatures rise.Disasters like this are becoming more fre-quent as the climate crisis intensifies,prompting artists like Christine and Margaret Wertheim to responddwith striking displays of what could be permanently lost.
