摘　　要：巴恩斯小说《英格兰,英格兰》虚构了英格兰近未来的社会发展,对英国民族特性和历史文化进行了解构性阐释。巴恩斯在小说中所描述的社会发展和文化传承的模式,与文化记忆理论的阐述高度契合,这使得小说对英格兰未来的虚构如同真实社会发展的文本实验一般。文章拟借用文化记忆的相关理论,从文化研究的视角来分析小说对英国民族文化记忆之传承与维系机制的精确演示和深刻反思。Julian Barnes’novel England,England fictionalizes the social development of England in the near future,and deconstructs English national characteristics,history and culture.The model of social development and cultural inheritance in the novel is highly consistent with the elaboration of Cultural Memory theory,and therefore the fiction of England’s future seems like a textual experiment of the real social development.With the relevant theories of Cultural Memory,this paper intends to,from the perspective of cultural studies,explore the precise demonstration and profound reflection on the inheritance and maintenance mechanism of British national cultural memory in the novel.
