顾福棠:首开 20 世纪以新理念诠释 《孙子兵法》之先河

摘　　要：鸦片战争之后,西方军事学的进入和传播是近代中国国门洞开和被动变革的必然结果。面对西方军事学的潮水般涌入,如何处理西方军事学术与以《孙子兵法》为代表的中国原有军事学术的关系,是需要近代先驱们回答的一个重要问题,这不仅涉及对待《孙子兵法》的态度,更体现了对待传统文化的态度问题。是全盘继承还是批判继承,是全盘西化还是以我为主?这不仅仅是简单的学术问题,而是关系到道路和方向的大问题。顾福棠是20世纪以新理念、新视角、新方法解释《孙子兵法》的第一人,他从古代用兵之法与今日用兵之术的结合、自我突破与学术自信的结合、中国“兵学之体”与西方“兵学之用”的结合、“我注六经”与“六经注我”的结合、内容“厚今”与形式“师古”的结合等五个方面为《孙子兵法》诠释提供了前所未有的研究范式,不仅为20世纪孙子兵学的发展突破开启了新局面,而且为恢复中华优秀传统文化自信做出了积极的探索。After the Opium War,the entry and dissemination of Western military science is an inevitable result of the opening up and passive transformation of modern China.In the face of the overwhelming influx of Western military science,how to deal with the academic relationship between Western military science and China’s original military science,represented by The Art of War,is an important question that needs to be answered by modern pioneers.This not only involves the attitude towards The Art of War,but also reflects the attitude towards traditional culture,whether it is a comprehensive inheritance or a critical inheritance,whether it is a comprehensive Westernization or a self-centered initiative.This is not only a simple academic issue,but also a major issue related to the path and direction.Gu Futang is the first person in the 20 th century to interpret The Art of War with new ideas,perspectives and methods.He explores the combination of ancient military techniques and contemporary military techniques,self breakthrough and academic self confidence,Chinese“noumeno of military science”and Western“function of military science”,“complete respect to the Six Classics”and“using the thought and wisdom in the Six Classics to interpret our own life”and“stress on the present”in the content and“learning from the past”in the form,and provides an unprecedented research paradigm for the interpretation of The Art of War,not only opening a new phase for the development of Sun Tzu’s military science in the 20 th century,but also making a positive exploration for resuming the confidence in the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
