摘　　要：从译便在观翻译,会形成翻译观。借参禅观山的三重境界,可类推出观译三境界:“见译是译”即初观或粗观,也是近观;继而“见译似译”但非译,因是面面观,只得片面真理;终得“见译只是译”的翻译观,取决于扎根实践与玄观翻译。观译全过程螺旋上升,又不断返璞归真,由简至繁,再去繁趋简,方得至简翻译观的真谛。When one translates,the observation of translation starts,and a view of translation is formed.With the famous Buddhist metaphor of"three stages to the true understanding of Chan"as a reference,the three stages of observing translation can be generated.In the first stage,translation is seen as it is.This is the initial translation view gained from translators'close observation of the activity in the early days and is therefore crude.In the second stage,translation seems like a paradox.As all aspects of translation are being studied individually,only partial truth can be revealed.Progressing tothe third stage,translation is nothing but translation itself.But tobe able toreach the stage rich experience in translation,macro thinking,and insights are required.To conclude,observing translation is a process from oversimplifying to complicating and then back to simplifying before a simple view of translation demonstrating only its essentials is obtained.
