摘　　要：Dear editor:Chromosomal abnormalities are the result of alteration in the number or structure of chromosomes causing diverse functional problems to various organs.1 Recently,though strategies for prenatal diagnosis for chromosomal abnormalities have progressed rapidly,management of patients of chromosomal abnormalities still remains an important medical problem.2 In medical genetics,cytogenetic analysis is becoming an essential source of diagnostic information and provides a genome-wide snapshot of an individual's chromosomes.
