摘　　要：鲁迅和奥康纳的生平创作都与死亡有不解之缘,他们都是擅长书写死亡的能手。死亡是两人作品中诠释主题的重要手段,是他们关怀生命、思考人生、拷问灵魂的载体。但在死亡叙事上两人有明显差异:首先,鲁迅对人物死亡原因和画面多采取轻描淡写或虚实结合的方式,奥康纳则不遗余力地展现各种暴力死亡。其次,鲁迅笔下人物多为精神病死,且长时间经历磨难,奥康纳笔下人物多为突发性、偶然性死亡。最后,鲁迅笔下人物死亡的意义在于刺痛国人麻木的神经,唤醒国人的反抗和反思,他的生死观富有策略性的政治色彩。奥康纳笔下的死亡则都围绕罪与救赎,她的生死观富有浓郁的宗教色彩。Both Lu Xun and O′Connor′s life stories are related to death.They were good at writing death.Death is an important means of interpreting the theme in their works,as well as a carrier for them to care for life,reflect on life,and torture their souls.However,there are significant differences in the narrative of death between them:first,Lu Xun often understated the causes of death and scenes of the characters,or adopted a combination of virtual and real method,while O′Connor spared no effort to display various violent deaths.Secondly,most of the characters in Lu Xun′s novels died of mental illness and experienced hardships for a long time,while most of the characters in O′Connor′s novels died suddenly and accidentally.Finally,the significance of the death of Lu Xun′s characters lies in stinging the numb nerves of Chinese people and awakening their resistance and reflection.His view of life and death is full of strategic political color.The death in O′Connor′s works is all about sin and redemption,and her view of life and death is full of strong religious color.
