《泰晤士报》的新能源话语特征及镜鉴价值——语料库辅助的批评话语分析

摘　　要：《泰晤士报》作为英国第一大报,具有较大的国际影响力,它刊登了一系列国际新能源发展动态的相关报道,构建了独特及持续性的新能源话语。自建“《泰晤士报》新能源报道语料库”(2002—2021年),采用语料库辅助的批评话语分析理论框架,通过主题词、搭配词、索引行分析新能源话语的特性和倾向性:英国全面致力于新能源发展,新能源的相关报导持续增长;传统能源逐渐向新能源转型,财经是影响新能源发展的主要因素;新能源发展涉及多个领域,关涉多个国家和地区,反映了复杂的国际关系。《泰晤士报》的新能源话语多角度展现了英国新能源战略;正面构建中国能源形象的同时,也出现了某些负面甚至误解的话。深入了解《泰晤士报》构建英国政府新能源战略及其话语的策略,为构建积极正面的中国新能源国际形象提供参考:一是以实际行动做好新能源发展工作,二是形成中国的新能源话语体系,三是借助国际媒体讲好中国新能源故事。The Times,as UK s largest newspaper with great international influence,has published a series of reports on new energy development dynamics worldwide,giving rise to unique and continuous new energy discourses.The present study,drawing on the theoretical framework of corpus-assisted critical discourse analysis,examines the characteristics and tendencies of the aforesaid new energy discourses through analyzing key words,collocations,and concordances in a self-built The Times New Energy Corpus(2002—2021).The findings are as follows:(1)The UK is fully committed to new energy development,and reports on new energy continue to grow;(2)Traditional energy sources are gradually transforming into new energy sources,and finance is the main factor affecting the development of new energy sources;(3)New energy development involves various fields,countries and regions,reflecting the complex international relations.In addition,analyses reveal that The Times new energy discourse presents a multi-faceted view of the UK s new energy strategy;while constructing a positive image of China s energy,it also has some negative or even misleading statements.As a result,in-depth researches on The Times strategy of constructing the UK government s new energy strategy and its discourses can shed light on building a positive international image of China s new energy.In reference to The Times,it can be concluded that we should take practical action to promote China s new energy development,build China s new energy discourse system,and tell China s new energy story via the international media.
