林语堂小说中口音叙事的作用

摘　　要：方言口音作为特定地域的文化符号,在林语堂的小说中频繁出现。作为中国语言文化的重要组成部分,各种方言口音在小说叙事中根据主题的需要,都被赋予了一定的跨文化意义。文章以林语堂小说为例分析方言口音这一地域符号的传承与发展,发现它不仅关联着小说故事情节、人物塑造、环境描写的推进,还渗透着地域偏见、阶层偏见、身份认同和文化认同等问题。研究表明,它的出现有着深刻的历史文化背景和文化传播意义。Dialect,a cultural symbol in a specific region,frequently appears in Lin Yutang's novels.As an important part of Chinese language and culture,dialects are endowed with certain cross-cultural significance based on different themes in the novel narratives.Taking Lin Yutang's novels as an example,this paper analyzes the inheritance and development of dialects-a regional symbol,and finds that it not only relates to the promotion of the novels5 plot,characterization and environmental description,but also permeates with regional and class prejudice,identity and cultural identification.Meanwhile,the research shows that it has profound historical and cultural background and cultural communication significance.
