《钟形罩》中的镜子意象研究

摘　　要：《钟形罩》讲述了女大学生埃斯特·科林伍德自杀未遂经过治疗又重新回归日常生活的故事。作品中反复出现的镜子意象,体现了作家在回顾早年生活时内心的愤怒、挣扎与绝望,表现出作家直面内心的坦诚和在社会大环境中的无力。通过对《钟形罩》中镜子意象的研究,可以看出作家意在探讨镜子对自我和社会的双重映照,镜子意象的使用揭示了作家在“揽镜自悲”的过程中彰显出的个体存在意识和对人类的关照。The Bell Jar tells the story of Esther Collingwood,a college student who attempts suicide and returns to her daily life after treatment.The recurring mirror image in the work reflects the anger,struggle and despair in the writer's heart when he looks back on his early life,and shows the writer's honesty in facing his heart and his weakness in the social environment.Through the study of the mirror image in The Bell Jar,it can be seen that the writer intends to explore the double reflection of self and society in the mirror,and the use of the mirror image reveals the writer's consciousness of individual existence and care for human beings in the process of"looking at the mirror to grieve".
