摘　　要：彼德·巴里的《理论入门:文学与文化理论导论》和罗伯特·帕克的《如何解释文学:文学与文化研究批评理论》是21世纪西方文学文化批评中的“双子星”。它们在“马克思主义”理论介绍部分不约而同地做到了“承典”和“创新”,而且存在诸多相似之处,即在继承马克思和恩格斯等前人成果的基础上,创造性地拓展了马克思主义理论内涵及其文学文化批评实践,为读者进一步理解和把握马克思主义理论和实践提供了很好的指导。两本专著既彼此呼应又相互补充,共同为读者展示了马克思主义传统批评理论中的经典价值与地位及其在21世纪文学与文化批评领域的强大生命力。Beginning Theory:An Introduction to Literary and Cultural Theory and How to Interpret Literature:Critical Theory for Literary and Cultural Studies written by Barry Peter and Parker Robert respectively are two important books on western literary and cultural criticism in the 21st century.They,with one accord,show many similarities in“Inheritance”and“Innovation”when they introduce Marxist view on literature and culture.That is,on the basis of inheriting the achievements of Marx’s and Engels’and other Marxist critics,the two books creatively expand the scope of Marxist theory and its literary and cultural criticism practice,they also provide a good guidance for readers to further understand and grasp Marxist theory and practice.The two books echo and complement each other.Together,they show readers the classic value and status of traditional Marxist criticism theory and its strong vitality in the field of literary and cultural criticism in the 21st century.
