摘　　要：春秋战国时期,商鞅在秦孝公的支持下开始变法。当时秦国正处于战争频繁、人心惶惶之际,为了树立威信,推进改革,商鞅下令在都城南门外立一根约三丈长的木头,并当众许下诺言:谁能把这根木头搬到北门,赏十两黄金。围观的人不相信仅仅做一件这样轻而易举的事竟能得到如此高的奖励,结果没人肯出手一试。于是,商鞅将奖励提高到五十两。终于有人将木头扛到了北门,商鞅立即赏了他五十两黄金。During the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period,Shang Yang started to 1)reform with the support of King Xiao of Qin.But the State of Qin was in a time of 2)frequent wars and people lost 3)faith in the country.In order to set up the prestige and put forward the reform successfully,Shang Yang ordered to stand a ten-meter-long log near the south gate of the capital and promised in public,“Who can remove this log to the north gate?
