河北迁安市爪村遗址厅山3号地点发现的旧石器

摘　　要：爪村遗址(5801地点)发现于1958年,是河北省内发掘的第一处旧石器时代遗址。2016年,河北省文物考古研究院等单位在遗址北侧厅山山脚下新发现厅山3号地点,发现比较丰富的石制品、动物化石。遗址埋藏部位、石器技术特征、动物化石与5801地点相似,时代也应该接近,距今4.2万—5万年。该地点的发现进一步丰富了爪村遗址的文化内涵,对研究小石器工业的发展演变、南北文化交流等具有重要意义。Zhaocun Site,also called Locality No.5801,discovered in 1958,is the first Paleolithic site excavated in Hebei Province.In 2016,a new Paleolithic site,called Tingshan Locality No.3,was discovered at the foot of Tingshan mountains,north of Zhaocun Site,by Hebei Provincial Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the other work units,and a great number of stone artifact and animal fossils were excavated.The site location,the stone artifact technology and the animal fossils of this site were similar to those at Locality No.5801,and the age should also be similar to that of Locality 5801.The age of both sites should be close,around 42,000-50,000 years ago.Discovery of the site has further enriched the cultural connotation of Zhaocun site,and is of great importance of studying the evolution of the small stone artifacts industry and the cultural exchange between the north and the south.
