美国高校学生事务与学术事务合作经验及启示——以阿帕拉契亚州立大学为例

摘　　要：人才培养是高等学校的基本职能和根本任务。高等学校组织运行与管理体系中与人才培养有关的工作主要分为两个部分,一是基于学生知识学习与学术训练的学术性事务(academic affairs),二是基于学生课外活动与非学术性环节的学生事务(student affairs)。高校学生事务与学术事务合作关系的建立,对促进学生的学业成功与全面发展以及对高校教育目标的实现具有重要作用,是高校培养“全人”的重要途径。该文选取学生事务与学术事务合作较为成功的美国阿帕拉契亚州立大学作为参照,重点分析美国高校学生事务与学术事务合作运行的现状、特点及其对我国的借鉴与启示等。Talent training is the main function and basic task about the institutions of higher education.Organization of institutions of higher education related to the talent training work can be divided into the two parts:one is academic affairs and management based on the study and academic training;another is the student affairs and management based on the extracurricular activities and nonacademic training.In American university,the operation of the two types of transaction management respectively called academic affairs and student affairs.Student and academic affairs collaboration plays a key role in promoting students’academic success and over-all development as well as the realization of the university education goals.This paper selects the more successful cooperation between student affairs and academic affairs at Appalachian State University in the United States as a reference,focusing on the current situation,characteristics and implication to our country.
