中学英语教材批判性思维能力培养的实现途径--基于《新高中英语教程》的分析

摘　　要：依据批判性思维理论结构,以《新高中英语教程》为例,从教材内容和活动设计两个方面,阐释中学英语教材培养学生批判性思维能力的主要途径。研究发现,批判性思维能力培养的理念与目标纵向贯穿于整套教材,有针对性的学习活动横向贯通于听说读写整个语言学习过程,具有系统性和连贯性特征。每一单元设定了明确的批判性思维能力优先发展目标,一方面,提供了真实且具有挑战性的主题和话题语篇内容;另一方面,又设计了具有针对性的合作型学习活动,为批判性思维能力发展提供了良好支撑。这一教材的设计理念对今后英语教材编写和英语教学均具有参照价值和借鉴意义。Based on the theoretical framework of critical thinking,this paper expounds the realization of cultivating critical skills in English textbooks in secondary school,through analyzing A New Senior Secondary English Language Course.The results show that the textbooks make the concept of critical thinking and the cultivation of its skills holistically connected across the four textbooks and the targeted learning activities.Each unit is designed with specific and prior critical thinking objectives.Meanwhile,the textbooks provide challenging themes and real-life topics in textual contents,targeted and collaborative learning activities which are conducive to the development of critical thinking skills.The design concept of the textbooks offers some enlightenment and reference to compilation of English textbooks and English teaching in the future.
