摘　　要：哈贝马斯公共领域是公众就普遍关心的话题或公共议题开展自由、公开和理性的讨论并形成公共意见或舆论,进而影响公共政策、监督和制约公共权力的领域,其本质是一个话语论辩空间。通过追溯公共领域与西方修辞学的历史渊源,揭示出哈贝马斯公共领域与西方修辞学之间密不可分的联系;同时指出哈贝马斯公共领域本身具有很强的修辞性,哈贝马斯公共领域本质上是一种理想的公共修辞空间。Habermas’public sphere is essentially a discursive space in which the public discuss the topics of universal concern or public issues in a free,public and rational way,so as to form public opinions to influence,supervise and restrict the public power.Through dating back the historical origin of public sphere,this paper discloses the close relationship between Habermas’public sphere and western rhetoric.Meanwhile,it argues that Habermas’public sphere has strong rhetoricity and it can be considered essentially as an ideal public rhetorical sphere.
