日语长元音短缩现象的非对称性研究

摘　　要：日语词末位置长元音经常发生短缩现象,而词中位置长元音的短缩却鲜有发生。本研究从产出和感知两个角度讨论日语长元音短缩现象的非对称性,指出:日语母语者产出和感知方面的特征会促进长元音短缩的非对称性现象发生,同时,长元音短缩现象的非对称性也在一定程度上反映出日语母语者的产出和感知特点。具体来说,在产出方面,与词中位置的长元音相比,词末位置长元音的持续时间较短,所以词末位置的长元音容易短缩;在感知方面,与词中位置的长元音相比,随着元音持续时间的减少,日语母语者更容易将单词末尾位置的元音感知为长元音。也就是说,单词末尾位置的元音即使持续时间短一些,也不妨碍日语母语者将其感知为长元音。正是上述产出和感知上的特点促进了长元音短缩非对称现象的发生。The shortening of long vowels often occurs at the end of Japanese words,while rarely in the middle.This paper discusses the asymmetry in the shortening of Japanese long vowels from the perspectives of production and perception.First,the characteristics of Japanese native speakers in terms of production and perception will promote the occurrence of the asymmetry of shortening long vowels.At the same time,the asymmetry of shortening long vowels also reflects the characteristics of Japanese native speakers in terms of production and perception to a certain extent.Specifically,in terms of production,compared with the long vowels in the middle of words,the long vowels at the end of words have a shorter duration,so the long vowels at the end of words tend to be shortened.In terms of perception,compared with the long vowels in the middle of words,Japanese native speakers are more likely to perceive the vowels at the end of words as long vowels as the duration of vowels decreases.That is to say,even if the vowel at the end of a word has a shorter duration,it does not prevent Japanese native speakers from perceiving it as a long vowel.It is the above characteristics of production and perception that promote the asymmetry of shortening long vowels.
