英语专业精读课程思政教学探索与实践——以“现代大学英语精读4”为例

摘　　要：课程思政是高校实施专业课程有机融入思想政治教育元素的创新教育理念,是落实“立德树人”根本任务的重要载体。精读课作为英语专业的主干课程,是进行思政教育最佳的课程载体。选取“现代大学英语精读4”教材中具有代表性的课文,从词汇、修辞和主题引申三个层面探讨英语专业精读课教学中课程思政元素的挖掘和实践。Ideological and political education(IPE),which refers to an innovative educational idea that aims to blend IPE elements with the courses of various majors,is an important medium of realizing the fundamental mission of“strengthening morality education through cultivating talents”.And Intensive Reading,as a main course of English major,is an ideal medium of applying IPE.Typical examples from different texts in Contemporary College English 4 have been cited,in terms of words and expressions,rhetorical devices and theme expounding,to explore the significance of applying IPE elements.
