摘　　要：文章介绍了农业院校西瓜、甜瓜栽培学课程的基本情况,并以新疆农业大学园艺专业为例,阐述了西瓜、甜瓜栽培学课程教学中具体内容以及存在的问题,力求通过引入教学实际案例、改变教学手段、加设期中考试、增设实验场所并进一步优化课程考核体系等,提高西瓜、甜瓜栽培学教学质量。This paper briefly introduced the basic situation of watermelon and melon cultivation course in agricultural universities, and took the horticulture major of Xinjiang Agricultural University as an example, elaborated the specific content and existing problems in the teaching of watermelon and melon cultivation course, and strives to introduce practical teaching cases, change teaching methods, add mid-term examinations, add experimental sites and further optimize the course assessment system, etc, to improve the teaching quality of watermelon and melon cultivation.
