摘 要:文化翻译观强调译者在翻译文学作品时不仅要关注语言文字层面,而且要发掘语言表象背后更深层次的文化本质。译者根据自身文化背景和知识储备理解原文本的“诗性”内容,并选择适当的翻译策略,着重展现译者与文本之间互动的“灵性”特征,从而全面彰显译者的主体性。本文着重探讨了葛浩文的《尘埃落定》英译本,从中寻求译者主体性的体现方式,以期为中国典籍外译和文化交流提供借鉴。The concept of cultural translation emphasizes that when translating literary works,translators should not only pay attention to the language level,but also explore the deeper cultural essence behind the language appearance.The translator understands the“poetic”content of the original text according to his own cultural background and knowledge reserves,and chooses appropriate translation strategies,emphasizing on the“spiritual”characteristics of the interaction between the translator and the text,so as to fully demonstrate the translator’s subjectivity.This article focuses on the Eng-lish translation of Ge Wenhao’s Red Poppies,looking for ways to embody the translator's subjectivity,in order to provide reference for the translation of Chinese classics and cultural exchanges.
