摘　　要：译写在当代英国诗歌中具有重要影响。随着希尼翻译的《贝奥武甫》现代英语版本在世纪之交获得成功,当代英国诗人将多种诗歌作品译写成英语。艾丽斯·奥斯瓦尔德重写荷马史诗《伊利亚特》,让当代英国诗歌创作更具活力,唐·帕特森则通过对欧洲现代诗歌作品的译写来创造新的诗歌风格。作为苏格兰民族主义者的诗人罗伯特·克劳福德借鉴中国古典诗歌作品来挑战英国主流诗歌传统,在当代英国诗歌创作中展现苏格兰性。译写作品成为联结传统与现代性之间的纽带,为当代英国诗歌带来了主题的多样性和诗歌艺术的创新。Translated works play an important role in contemporary British poetry.As Seamus Heaney's modern English version of Beowulf became a success at the turn of the century,British poets started to translate various poems into English.While Alice Oswald rewrites Homer's liad to revitalize the English poetic tradition,Don Paterson creates versions of Modern European poetry to develop new poetic styles.As a Scottish nationalist,Robert Crawford borrows from ancient Chinese poetry to challenge the dominant English poetic tradition and demonstrate Scottishness in contemporary British poetry.Translated works become a bridge between tradition and modernity,and bring thematic diversity and artistic innovations into contemporary British poetry.
