摘　　要：1917—1927年是中国民主革命开天辟地的十年。以毛泽东、蔡和森、何叔衡等为代表的湖南早期进步知识分子和共产党人,广泛开展红色教育实践探索,内容涉及工农教育、社会教育、留学教育、党的干部教育等方面,具有鲜明的群众性、先进性、创新性和示范性等时代表征与历史特点,在提升国民素质、改良社会风气,宣传马列主义、唤醒阶级觉悟,培养优秀人才、储备革命力量等领域取得了辉煌的成就,为中国革命胜利和社会发展进步作出了巨大贡献,其影响之深远,及于今日。1917-1927 was the groundbreaking decade of China's democratic revolution.The early progressive intellectuals and Communists in Hunan,represented by Mao Zedong,Cai Hesen,He Shuheng and others,extensively carried out the practical exploration of "red education" ,which covered the education of workers and peasants,social education,education for studying abroad,education of Party cadres and other aspects.It has distinctive characteristics of the times and historical characteristics,such as mass,progressiveness,innovative and exemplary.The red education has made brilliant achievements in improving the quality of the people,opening up social atmosphere,promoting Marxism Leninism,arousing class consciousness,cultivating outstanding talents,reserving revolutionary forces and other fields,and made great contributions to the victory of China's revolution and social development and progress.Its influence is far-reaching even today.
