摘  要:作为被《新青年》的师长召唤出来的“新青年”,《新潮》同人从切己的人生难题出发,以人生观的重建切入新文化运动。詹姆士的实用主义哲学是傅斯年重建人生观方案的重要知识资源,但他在引入詹姆士的“实际主义”时悬置了其理论体系中重要的“精神主义”向度,其确定性的追求恰恰体现出不确定的状态。这套未完成的人生观方案因反映了新文化派的“公同信仰”而被同人纳入更广泛的社会问题讨论中,但由于它的未完成性,该方案一旦触及一般青年,其背后的哲学理论即沦为虚空的知识结构。因传播媒介限制形成的碎片化阅读方式、危机时刻囫囵吞枣的阅读选择、狭窄的社会阶层上升通道造成的功利阅读,终使《新潮》同人的这次人生观探索难以“及物”,并给思想界埋下亟待再次变革的种子。As the"new youth"cultivated by the teachers of La Jeunesse,the colleagues of The Renaissance proceeded from their own life problem to the new cultural movement aimed at reconstructing the outlook on life.Fu Ssu-nien took William James's philosophy of pragmatism as an important intellectual resource for reconstructing his outlook,but suspended the significant"spiritualism"dimension when introducing his"pragmatism"Fu's pursuit of certainty turned out to reflect his state of uncertainty.As it reflected their"shared beliefs",this unfulflled program of the outlook on life was later incorporated into the broader discussion of social problems by the colleagues of the New Culture.However,owing to its unfinished nature,it reduced to an empty intellectual structure once reaching the general youth.The fragmented reading style caused by the limitation of media,the lumpy reading choice in the time of crisis,and the utilitarian reading mentality caused by the narrow social class ascension path finally made it difficult for the Colleagues of The Renaissance to"reach"the reality,which geminated another revolution in the mind of intellectuals.
