摘 要:口头叙事是学生口语能力的一个重要方面。本研究通过中国英语学习者梨子故事综合语料库(CLIPS)对比分析了中国英语学习者和本族语者叙述“梨子故事”所使用的副词性关联词语的功能类型、句法分布和话语功能,发现中国学生在该类词语的选择及表意上呈现僵化趋势、叙事中评议较少、叙事缺乏感染力。笔者建议教师引导学生从语义、句法、语用多角度探究该类词语在口头叙事中的作用,完善口头叙事话语结构模式,提升口头叙事的凝聚力、连贯性和感染力,从而增强口头叙事和口语表达能力。Oral narrative is a crucial aspect of students'oral competence.Based on Chinese Learners'Integrated Pear Stories(CLIPS),the present study investigates the functional types,syntactic distribution and interactional functions of adverbial conjunctions in"The Pear Stories"produced by Chinese EFL learners and native speakers.It is found that Chinese EFL learners show rigidity in the choices and expressive functions of such words,lack of evaluation in narrative and appeal of narration.It is suggested that teachers guide students to explore the functions of adverbial conjunctions in oral narrative from the perspectives of semantics,syntax and pragmatics,and lead them to analyze the normal structure of oral narrative.Students can enhance their oral narrative skills and oral competence when they are capable of rendering their narrative cohesive,coherent and appealing.
