摘　　要：弄堂建筑曾经以其独特的地域性民居形态遍布20世纪30年代的上海。然而,随着这座城市的高密度开发,如今的弄堂建筑或遭拆除或被破坏,正在慢慢消失。如恩接受委托改建的便是这样一栋位于田子坊历史及艺术区的弄堂建筑,整栋建筑几乎只剩下一个外壳。如恩的设计理念是重新思考弄堂建筑的特征,延续这个建筑类型的分离剖面构造,并通过嵌入新的构筑物和天窗来加强空间层次感。如恩在保留了弄堂建筑本身特性的同时,使其适用于现代的生活形态。The longtang lane house of Shanghai once comprised the dominant urban fabric that made Shanghai the intoxicating metropolis that it was in the 1930s.Being slowly demolished and eclipsed by high-density developments all over the city,the longtang is now a diminishing typology.One such dilapidated lane house that we were commissi oned to recon struct,located in the historic and artistic area of Tian zifa ng,was left with almost nothing except the existing shell.Our strategy was to rethink the typology of the lane house.The result is to keep the split-level formation and add spatial layering through new insertions and openings,at once retaining the architectural integrity of the typology while contemporizing it for today's lifestyle.
