摘　　要：本文为安东尼·布伦特在英国皇家建筑师学会所作讲座与讨论环节的文字记录发表稿。该讲座是英语世界介绍与讨论建筑中手法主义风格的早期关键文献。布伦特在讲座中先后介绍了手法主义一词的来源、手法主义时期的社会背景。随后,以手法主义与文艺复兴和巴洛克作比较,介绍了狭义的意大利16世纪手法主义绘画的特征,将手法主义定义为是对古典艺术原则的逆转。再以此分析了该时期建筑的立面墙体、平面空间和装饰细部中的特定手法,从历史现象、社会背景、艺术家和建筑师的主观能动等角度定义了狭义的手法主义建筑。最后,布伦特将手法主义建筑的概念拓展到16世纪和意大利以外的其他时代和地域中,浅析了英国新古典、德国浪漫主义和柯布西耶与手法主义的关联。在讨论环节,维特科尔与萨默森等人做点评,并与布伦特进一步讨论了建筑师索恩、手法主义的适用范围、风格与历史事件的关联以及浪漫主义等问题。This article is a Chinese translation of the transcript of Anthony Blunts lecture Mannerism in Architecture before RIBA in 1949,with the discussion.The lecture is a key early document in the introduction and discussion of the Mannerist style in architecture in the English-speaking world.In the lecture,Blunt introduced the origin of the term Mannerism and the social conditions of the Mannerist period.Then he compared the Mannerism with the Renaissance and the Baroque,introduced the characteristics of sixteenth-century Italian Mannerist paintings,defined the Mannerism as inverting the principles of classical art.In this sense,he analyzed the manners used in the facades,plans,spaces and decorations of that period's architecture,defining Mannerist architecture in a narrow sense in terms of historical phenomena,social conditions and the architects'agency.Finally,Blunt extended the concept of Mannerist architecture beyond the sixteenth century and Italy,to other periods and regions:the British Neoclassicism,German Romanticism and Le Corbusier.In the discussion,Wittkower and Summerson commented and discussed further on Soane,the application of Mannerism,the relationships between style and historical events,and the term of Romanticism.
