摘　　要：本次“霍普杯”竞赛题目,我们所谓的“城乡”旨在挑战城市与乡村的二元性以及一系列仍在持续进行中的对话。事实上,我也观察了一些往届的竞赛,这些竞赛要么是关于乡村的,要么是关于城市的,而我认为非常有趣的也非常不同的一点是,现如今这样的一种交叉关系,我们所关注的是与城乡联结性相关的范式,这种范式是将“城乡联结”作为独立的主体去思考。The project that we have put together the notion of urban-rural is interested in challenging the binary of urban-rural and a consistent set of conversations that had been taking place.In fact I had looked at some of the last competitions and they were rural or they were urban and I think whafs interesting and a very different kind of notion is the relati on ship of this today.What we're looking at is prototypes that have to do with the connectivity of urban-rural as a more singular kind of thinking and to begin with it has to do with some very personal experiences that I had when I was in Havana.It was a fascinating condition because of the social and cultural condition that farming and food substanee was taking place in the city.
