摘　　要：今年的“霍普杯”设计竞赛题目发布以来受到学界很大的关注,不仅因为出题人是普利兹克奖的获得者著名建筑师汤姆·梅恩,更因为这个题目本身所具有的深度耐人寻味。汤姆·梅恩提出的竞赛题目是十分用心地做了先期研究和审慎思考的,相关功课做得很到位。总体上看“折叠景观--城乡结合的范式”这个题目在深度、难度方面都具有挑战性,引人入胜,能够激发参赛者强烈的探索欲。这个赛题至少有三方面的特点,分别为时代性、社会性和学科交叉性。The topic of UIA-HYP Cup 2022 design competition has attracted great attention from the academia since it was released,not only because the question setter is a Pritzker Prize winner-the renowned architect Mr.Thom Mayne,but the topic itself bears impressive profundity.From the topic,we can see that Mr.Mayne had made great efforts in preliminary research and critical thinking.The related study is really to the point.On the whole,the topic of"Folding Landscapes:Prototypes for an Urban-Rural Union"is challenging and fascinating in depth and difficulty,and can stimulate the participants'strong desire to explore.This topic contains at least three characteristics of being epochal,social,and interdisciplinary.
