摘  要:Introduction With advances in technology,natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery(NOTES)has long been an ultimate clinical pursuit in minimally invasive surgery.The transanal total mesorectal excision(taTME)in rectal surgery has been considered a representative example of the adoption of the NOTES concept[1,2].The taTME procedures offer an optimized view,better exposure of the anatomical plane.
