With the development of intelligent network,vehicle-road cooperation, autonomous driving and other technologies, the study of dynamic characteristics of networked hybrid traffic flow has grown theoretically important for improving the operation efficiency, capacity and safety of road traffic. In view of the complex dynamic characteristics of the networked hybrid traffic flow, this study modifies and develops the speed model by taking into account the influence of the driver’s reaction time delay and the vehicle’s insertion into the adjacent lane during the car-following process. In order to reduce speed fluctuation and increase ride comfort, the steady-state car-following optimization strategy is designed.Numerical simulation experiments of urban expressway are carried out by MATLAB software to verify and analyze the effect of the steady-state car-following optimization strategy. The results show that the following characteristics under the optimized car-following response strategy are consistent with the vehicle’s actual following behavior, which has a good effect on reducing the fluctuation of traffic speed and improving the driving safety and stability.
