摘 要:当前大学英语语音课程教学出现低效现象的主要原因一是受汉语负迁移影响,英语语音学习难点多,二是传统语音教学偏重独立音素的发音学习与纠音,忽视单词发音指导和训练。论文从音素独立发音精讲细练的教学需求和效果、单词发音对语音技巧掌握的重要性、单词发音对语音意识培养的作用三方面来探讨在语音教学中将教学重心从独立音素发音和纠音转向单词发音的必要性,认为大学英语语音课程教学中应减少独立音素教学纠音的比重,加强单词尤其是多音节单词的发音指导和训练。强化多音节单词的重读音节发音训练和单词音节拼读训练,不仅利于学生掌握句子重读、语调和节奏等语音技巧,还有助于培养学生的语音意识,提高词汇学习和运用能力。The main reasons for the inefficiency in the current college English pronunciation teaching are that due to the negative transfer of Chinese,there are many difficulties in English pronunciation learning,and the traditional pronunciation teaching focuses on the pronunciation learning and correction of independent phonemes,ignoring the guidance and training of word pronunciation.This paper discusses the necessity of changing the phonics teaching focus from independent phoneme pronunciation and correction to word pronunciation in three aspects:the teaching demand and effect of intensive and detailed practice of independent phoneme pronunciation,the importance of word pronunciation to the mastery of phonetic skills,and the role of word pronunciation in the cultivation of phonological awareness.It is believed that the proportion of pronunciation teaching and correction in independent phoneme should be reduced in college English pronunciation teaching,and the guidance and training should be highlighted in words,especially polysyllabic words.Strengthening the training of stress syllable pronunciation of polysyllabic words and word syllable spelling is not only conducive to students’learning and mastering the pronunciation skills such as sentence stress,intonation and rhythm,but also helps to cultivate students’phonological awareness and improve their vocabulary learning and application ability.
