公众环境关注、环境绩效与环境信息披露水平--基于中国高耗能行业的证据  

Public Environmental Concern,Environmental Performance and Environmental Information Disclosure Level:Evidence based on China's High Energy Consumption Industry

摘　　要：以2011—2020年中国沪深两市高耗能行业的数据为样本,研究公众环境关注、企业环境绩效对企业环境信息披露行为的影响。研究结果表明,对于高耗能行业,社会公众环境关注度对环境信息披露具有显著的抑制作用,且具有滞后效应;相对于非国有企业,公众环境关注度对国有企业环境信息披露水平的抑制作用更大。企业绩效在公众环境关注度对环境信息披露水平的负相关关系中起显著的中介作用,且资产规模大、负债水平低以及非国有企业的中介效用更强。研究从外部非正式规制视角分析了社会公众对环境信息披露的影响,弥补了管制理论与企业环境信息披露研究的不足。Based on the data of high energy consumption industries in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2011 to 2020,this paper studies the impact of public attention and corporate environmental performance on corporate environmental information disclosure.The results show that for high energy consuming industries,public environmental concern has a significant inhibitory effect on environmental information disclosure,and has a lag effect;Compared with non-state-owned enterprises,public environmental concern has a greater inhibitory effect on the level of environmental information disclosure of state-owned enterprises.Enterprise performance plays a significant intermediary role in the negative correlation between public environmental concern and the level of environmental information disclosure,and the intermediary effect of large assets,low debt level and non-state-owned enterprises is stronger.The research analyzes the impact of the public on environmental information disclosure from the perspective of external informal regulation,which makes up for the lack of regulation theory and enterprise environmental information disclosure research.
