摘　　要：对于普通高校英语专业人才培养困境,重点择取中小学基础阶段英语教育与普通高校英语专业人才培养的衔接端口这个鲜受关注的视角,分析英语专业人才培养困境的症结,提出困境的突破应从英语本科专业基础课程改革中发力,打破不适应时代需要的僵化模式,由此在学界专家的创见基础上从人才培养模式和教材两个维度构想其迭代更新的路径,找到普通高校英语专业人才培养的新一轮发展的动力。The paper analyzesthe causes of the plight,that cultivationof English-major talentsis confronted with the place between the devil and sea in recent years,from the perspective of the interface between the university and pre-college English education system,and proposes that the breakthrough may find its wayin the reform of the professional corecourses.How to innovate Mode of English talent cultivation and coursebooksis constructed,as the two efficient and effective space,aiming to seeking the new round of energy for English majors of average universities in the new era of China.
