翻译硕士(MTI)实践报告英文摘要的语步模型研究——基于语料库的体裁分析

摘　　要：实践报告是翻译硕士(MTI)学位论文类型之一。英文摘要是其中重要的组成部分,其语篇组织结构分析能够有助于该部分的写作与教学。鉴于目前还缺少这方面的研究,本文基于Swales的体裁分析理论,从全国16个省30个获批翻译硕士专业学位的高等院校系统抽样60篇翻译硕士实践报告英文摘要(30篇口译和30篇笔译)自建语料库,采用语步分析研究方法得出翻译硕士实践报告英文摘要的语步结构模型,进而对比该语步模型在口译和笔译两个翻译硕士学科专业语域中的异同。研究结果得出,翻译硕士实践报告英文摘要的语步结构模型包括6个语步和11个步骤,并呈现专业性的语言特征和范式。同时,受学科差异的影响,研究还发现,该语步模型中的部分语步在口译和笔译两个学科的英文摘要中表现出不同的修辞地位。本研究以期有助于翻译硕士实践报告的写作与教学。Practice Report is one type of theses for the program of Master of Translation and Interpretation(MTI).English Abstract is an important section in a Practice Report.The analysis of its discourse structure has a pedagogical meaning for the teaching and the writing of MTI Practice Report.However,no related study existed.Based on Swales(1990)genre analysis,the present study explored the move-step model of MTI Practice Report Abstract and compared the similarities and differences of the model between the Interpretation and the Translation disciplines.The results showed that the move-step model of MTI Practice Report Abstract contains 6 moves and 11 steps,which displays their own language features and patterns.Meanwhile,the results revealed that some moves in the model have different status in the Abstract of the Interpretation Practice Report and the Abstract of the Translation Practice Report due to the disciplinary variations.It is hoped that the move-step model obtained in the study can be beneficial for the teaching and the writing of MTI Practice Report.
