摘 要:《时代》画报是20世纪上半叶在上海出版的一本具有代表性与影响力的摄影画报。画报编辑部集结了以张光宇为核心的现代设计师、以郎静山为代表的摄影家,通过摄影与漫画为主导的视觉图像呈现摩登上海与世间百态,引领当时的视觉艺术潮流,展现时人对于现代都市文化的认知与讨论。本文讨论《时代》画报与上海都市文化环境的关系,从摄影画报的媒介特性、图文内容、创作手法三个层面分析其对视觉现代性的独特实践,画报编辑团队创造性地运用大众传播媒介,结合摄影蒙太奇等先锋设计手法,呈现20世纪20年代末至30年代以上海为典型的现代都市景观。The Modern Miscellany,gathering modern designers including Zhang Guangyu and photographers including Lang Jingshan,was a representative and influential photography pictorial published in Shanghai in the first half of the 20th century.With photographs and comics as major visual images,it presented a modern Shanghai and the world as a whole,led the trend of visual art at that time,and demonstrated people's understanding and discussion of urban culture in the modern era.This paper discusses the relationship between the Modern Miscellany and urban culture in Shanghai,and analyzes its unique practice of visual modernity from the three aspects of media characteristics,photographs and content,and creation techniques.Creatively using mass media and pioneering design techniques such as photography montage,the editorial team presented urban landscape between the late 1920s and the 1930s with Shanghai as a typical case.
