摘 要:针对信息论中的AIC和MDL准则无法估计色噪声条件下的信源个数问题,提出了一种将信息论准则与DMR白化滤波器(DMR-WF)相结合的信源个数估计方法。所提方法利用阵列天线ULA接收到的色噪声样本协方差矩阵构造出DMR-WF矩阵,再利用DMR-WF对ULA接收的包含色噪声信号的样本协方差矩阵进行白化变换,获得白化后的信号样本协方差矩阵,经过特征值分解后得到的特征值分别利用AIC和MDL准则得出信源个数的估计。实验结果证明,上述方法能够实现AIC和MDL准则在色噪声条件下的信源个数估计问题,且在低信噪比和小快拍数条件下均具有较好的估计性能。Aiming at the problem that the Akaike information criterion(AIC)and minimum description length(MDL)criterion in information theory can not estimate the number of sources under the condition of colored noise,a method of estimating the number of sources based on the combination of information theory criterion and dominant mode rejection whitening filter(DMR-WF)is proposed.The proposed method uses the color noise sample covariance matrix received by the array antenna ULA to construct the DMR-WF matrix.Then,the DMR-WF is used to whiten the sample covariance matrix containing the color noise signal received by the ULA to obtain the whitened signal sam-ple covariance matrix.The eigenvalues obtained by eigenvalue decomposition are estimated by using AIC and MDL criteria respectively.The simulation results show that the proposed method can realize the source number estimation of AIC and MDL criterion under the condition of colored noise,and has good estimation performance under the condition of low SNR and small snapshots.
