摘　　要：材料力学是一门重要的工科基础课。该文从材料力学发展史出发,深度挖掘材料力学课程中包含的思政元素,从哲学、典型工程事故、科学家献身科学的故事等方面入手,培养学生的辩证思维、积极人生观、安全意识,激发其民族自豪感,在学习专业知识、提高综合素质的同时,实现知识讲授与价值认同的相互统一。Mechanics of Materials is an important basic engineering course.Starting from the development history of mechanics of materials,this paper deeply excavates the ideological and political elements contained in the course of Mechanics of Materials,and starts from philosophy,typical engineering accidents,stories of scientists’dedication to science,etc.to cultivate students’dialectical thinking,positive outlook on life,safety awareness,stimulate their sense of national pride,and realize the mutual unity of knowledge teaching and value recognition while learning professional knowledge and improving their comprehensive quality.
