“杜撰”“肚撰”与“臆撰”

摘　　要：关于“没有根据地编造;虚构”义是用“杜撰”还是“肚撰”,学术界有不同说法,有的认为“杜撰”一词与姓“杜”的有关;也有人认为“杜”“土”同音,“杜”表“自己的;自家的”义。其实“肚撰”更有说服力,不仅出现时间早,理据性也更强,与其同义词“臆撰”一样,由“内心”义进而表示“主观地/的”义,再引申出“没有根据地编造;虚构”义很自然。汉语中“肚”“臆”“胸”“肠”“腹”都有“内心”义,它们及其构成的“肚X”“臆X”“胸X”“肠X”“腹X”等词,也都引申出了“主观地/的”之义,符合认知语言学中的隐喻理论。The academic circles have diff erent opinions on whether use Duzhuan(杜撰)or Duzhuan(肚撰)to express the meaning of unsubstantiated fabrication and fi ction.Some think that Du(杜)is the family name,that is,the word Duzhuan(杜撰)is related to the family name Du(杜).Some people also believe that Du(杜)and Tu(土)are homonym,and Du(杜)is the meaning of our own.In fact,Duzhuan(肚撰)is more convincing.It is not only appeared early but also more rational.Like the synonymous term臆撰,肚撰has the meaning of“inner thoughts”,which has gradually evolved to mean“subjectively/subjective”.The meaning of“fabrication without basis;fi ctitious”naturally follows.In Chinese,肚,臆,胸,肠,and腹all have the meaning of“inner thoughts”,and their combinations with肚X,臆X,胸X,肠X,腹X,and other words have also extended to the meaning of“subjectively/subjective”,which is in line with the metaphor theory in cognitive linguistics.
