摘　　要：文化是人类适应环境的产物,城市具有明显的地域性和唯一性,而一个时代所建造的园林是为其所处时代的人服务的,带有明显的时代烙印。该文从城市文化的视角出发,介绍了意大利古罗马时期、中世纪时期、文艺复兴时期以及近现代时期的园林及其特点,总结了不同时期的风景园林在社会中的地位和意义,以此回顾了意大利风景园林的历史与演变过程。Culture is the product of human adaptation to the environment,the city has obvious regional and unique,and the garden built by an era is to serve the people of its era,with obvious brand of the era.From the perspective of urban culture,we introduce the gardens and their characteristics in the ancient Roman period,the medieval period,the Renaissance period and the modern period in Italy,then we summarize the status and significance of landscape architecture in different periods in society,finally we review the history and evolution of Italian landscape architecture.
