数字经济与区域自主创新和模仿创新——基于省级面板数据的实证分析

摘　　要：基于2011~2020年中国31个省份面板数据,研究数字经济究竟促进了自主创新还是模仿创新。结果表明,数字经济促进了自主创新和模仿创新,该结论在处理内生性、替换被解释变量以及滞后解释变量后依然成立。机制分析发现,数字经济通过增加人力资本积累和研发资本投入促进自主创新;异质性分析发现,数字经济对自主创新的促进作用在东部地区和知识产权保护较强的地区显著,对模仿创新的促进作用在中西部地区和知识产权保护较强的地区显著;进一步分析发现,省域间自主创新存在负向空间溢出,数字经济对自主创新的正向空间溢出并不显著。因此,应强化数字核心技术供给,畅通数字创新渠道;缩小区域数字鸿沟,推动数字经济均衡发展;加强知识产权保护,释放知识产权保护红利。Based on the panel data of 31 Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2020,this paper investigates whether the digital economy promotes independent innovation or imitative innovation.The study finds that the digital economy promotes both independent and imitative innovation,and this finding holds after dealing with endogeneity,substitution of explanatory variables and lagged explanatory variables.The mechanism analysis finds that the digital economy promotes independent innovation by increasing human capital accumulation and RD capital investment.The heterogeneity analysis finds that the promotion effect of digital economy on independent innovation is significant in the eastern regions and regions with strong intellectual property protection,while the promotion effect on imitation innovation is significant in the central and western regions and regions with strong intellectual property protection.Further analysis finds that there is a negative spatial spillover of independent innovation between provinces,and the positive spatial spillover of digital economy on independent innovation is not significant.Therefore,we should strengthen the supply of digital core technologies and open up digital innovation channels,narrow the regional digital divide and promote the balanced development of the digital economy,and strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights and release the dividends of intellectual property protection.
