摘　　要：作为对微观社会互动与宏观历史进程都至关重要的核心情感,羞耻感受到不同学科的广泛关注。其中,埃利亚斯和波兹曼分别从型构社会学和媒介生态学的视角分析了西方文明进程中的耻感变迁。埃利亚斯认为,随着社会型构的复杂化,羞耻阅限在西方文明进程中不断推进,尽管偶有曲折和波动。深受埃利亚斯影响的波兹曼则强调媒介技术对羞耻感的作用,认为印刷术使羞耻感得以诞生,电子媒介导致羞耻感的消逝。他们虽然分别强调了社会型构或媒介技术的力量,但同时都认为必须综合考虑各种因素,因而问题的关键在于如何综合分析社会型构与媒介技术之间的相互交织及其对耻感变迁的影响。As a master emotion that is crucial to micro-social interaction and macrohistorical processes,shame received different concerns of many scholars.Among them,Elias and Postman analyzed the change of shame in the process of Western civilization from different the perspectives.Elias believed that with the complexity of social configurations,the threshold of shame continues to advance in the course of Western civilization,despite occasional twists and turns.Postman,who was deeply influenced by Elias,emphasized the role of media technology on the change of shame.He believed that typography gave birth to shame and electronic media led to the disappearance of shame.Although respectively emphasize the power of social configuration or media technology,they all recognized that various factors must be considered comprehensively.Therefore,the key to the problem is how to analyze the mutual relationship between social configuration and media technology,and its impact on shame.
