摘　　要：After the founding of the People's Republic of China,several modernstructureswerebuilt on and around Tian'anmen Square one after another,including the Monument to the People's Heroes,the Great Hall of the People,the Museum of Chinese Revolution and History and Mao Zedong Memorial Hall.These attractions spotlight the square and form a grand architectural accomplishment together with the splendid Tian'anmen gate tower.The Monument to the People's Heroes sits at the centre of the square.
