摘　　要：随着近年来物质生活水平的提高和口腔保健意识的增强,人们越来越重视牙齿的功能性和美观度,推动了牙科材料的蓬勃发展。修复材料在牙科临床的使用不但能够实现牙齿结构修复和美观功能的修复,同时能够产生治疗的效果。本文概述了牙科材料的发展历史,常用的种植牙和牙体填充材料的基本性能和适用范围,包含化学稳定性、生物相容性、硬度、耐磨性和断裂韧性等。最后展望了材料学在牙科修复领域的未来研究方向。With the improvement of living quality,the awareness of oral health care was increasing in recent years.People pay more and more attention to the chewing functionality and aesthetics of teeth,which has driven the flourishing development of dental materials.We have witnessed the past years significant advances in the development of dental materials.The decision-making process for the clinical use of a dental restorative material is made in accordance with the material’s ability to restore the structure and the aesthetic appearance of the teeth and in doing so,impart a net therapeutic effect.In this paper,we have provided an overview of the history and major advancements in dental materials,commonly used for dental implants and fillings.The desirable properties,including chemical inertness,biocompatibility,hardness,wear resistance and fracture toughness,which defined its scope of applications.The developments,current challenges and their future perspective of materials science in the field of restorative dentistry are discussed.
