《寂静的春天》选篇人际隐喻分析

摘　　要：《寂静的春天》作为环保语篇的重要代表作,详尽叙述了第二次世界大战后美国大量使用有毒杀虫剂、喷剂等化学物质和肥料带来的种种危害,通过阅读分析其选篇《忍耐的义务》,发现作者蕾切尔·卡逊多处使用了情态隐喻及语气隐喻,清楚、明确地表达了自己的观点与态度,并巧妙通过隐喻精准地传达了保护环境、警醒世人的意义。As an important representative of environmental protection discourse,Silent Spring describes in great details various hazards due to the massive use of toxic pesticides,sprayers,other chemicals and fertilizers in the United States after World War II.After reading the chapter,The Obligation to Endure,it is found that Rachel Carson,the author,by using interpersonal metaphors of modality and metaphors of mood,clearly expresses her views and attitudes,and cleverly conveys the interpersonal meaning of protecting environment and alerting the world through interpersonal metaphors,which is thought-provoking.
