摘　　要：《拯救溺水之鱼》是美籍华裔女作家谭恩美迈向新的写作风格的一次大胆尝试,标志着其创作方向的重要转变。这部小说中谭恩美不再局限于那种以美国华裔家庭为背景、以母女间的亲情关系为主题、以讲述过去为主的写作风格,小说完全由幽灵叙述者进行叙述,被评论界称为“幽灵小说”。通过《拯救溺水之鱼》的幽灵叙事,谭恩美探讨了死亡对于人生、信仰和追求的影响,抒发了对人生的思考和生命的景仰。借助幽灵叙事,小说《拯救溺水之鱼》探讨了普世的“救赎”主题,融入了谭恩美对人生的长久思考,抒发了谭恩美呼唤超越种族的“真善”与“普世的友情”的最终意图。This paper will lay emphasis on the ghost narrator in it,as the whole story is narrated by a ghost.Saving Fish from Drowning is a bold attempt by Amy Tan,a Chinese American women writer,to explore a new writing style,marking an important shift in her creative direction.In this novel,Tan no longer confines herself to writing about the Chinese American family and the mother-daughter relationship with a focus on the past.Instead,the novel is entirely narrated by a ghost narrator,earning the title of a"ghost writing"by critics.Through the ghost narration in Saving Fish from Drowning,Tan explores the impact of death on life,faith,and pursuit,expressing her contemplation of life and reverence for life.With the help of the ghost narration,the novel delves into the universal theme of"redemption"and incorporates Tan's long-term reflection on life,expressing her ultimate intention to call for"true kindness"and"universal friendship"beyond race.
