摘 要:兼具中西方双重文化身份的凌淑华,在跨文化的女性主义文化场域和离散经历中,凭借英语写作和书法、绘画在西方传播中国文化,以期让不懂中文的西方读者深入了解中国文化中“水下冰山”的思想方法、价值观,从而改变对中国及中国人的固有成见。凌淑华的第一部英语自传体小说《古韵》及小说中的绘画和她的画展均是海外传播中国文化的一种媒介载体,该文从中英文化交流的角度,采用跨文化的方法梳理凌淑华如何通过女性文化共同体,采用化异为同在“第三空间”实现跨文化的传播自觉,以期为中国文化“走出去”、讲好中国故事提供了可供借鉴的经验。Ling Shuhua,with a dual identity between China and the west,under the cross-cultural vision and dring the diasporic experience,employing English writing,calligraphy and drawing to spread traditional Chinese culture in“the third world”,looked forward to making the western readers deeply understand the thinking method and value outlook underlying the iceberg under water within Chinese culture and change the stereotype of Chinese people and China.Ancient Melodies—Ling Shuhua's first autobiography and Ling Shuhua's drawings and drawing show are media carriers to spread traditional Chinese culture abroad,which enrich the ways of spreading traditional Chinese culture overseas.From the cross-cultural perspectives of British and Chinese,this paper tries to comb out how Ling Shuhua has realized the cross-cultural spreading conscious activity by means of the sharing community of female culture,using transforming differences into similarities in the Third Space,so as to offer referential experience for Chinese culture going out,telling Chinese stories.
