二程仁礼关系辨

摘　　要：仁礼关系问题是儒学的重要问题,二程对此颇为措意,全面把握他们关于仁礼关系的观点,有助于理解二程思想的开创性。二程思想虽有差异,但对于仁礼关系,二者观点总体上是统一的,即都认为仁与礼具有同根性、异质性、相成性。同根性是指仁与礼同是天理的体现,同根于人的至善之性;异质性是说仁与礼在内涵、地位和作用上有实质差异;相成性意味着仁与礼紧密相连、相辅相成,仁是礼的内在基础,礼是仁的必然要求。但因二程在气质个性、精神气象上的不同,他们在具体论证仁礼关系上也有所区别。二程对仁礼关系的辨析相互补充,促进了理学思想体系的建构。The relationship between benevolence and ritual propriety is an important issue in Confucianism,which the Cheng brothers thought upon deeply.To fully grasp the relationship between benevolence and ritual propriety is helpful for understanding how pioneering the brothers were in their thought.Although there are differences between the thought of the two brothers,their views on the relationship between benevolence and ritual propriety are nevertheless fairly unified,that is,benevolence and ritual propriety have the same root,existing in a relationship of heterogeneity and mutuality.The same root means that benevolence and ritual propriety are both the embodiment of the principle of heaven,in which human goodness has its ultimate root.Heterogeneity means that benevolence and ritual propriety have substantial differences in connotation and status.Mutuality means that benevolence and ritual propriety are closely connected,they complement each other,benevolence is the internal basis of ritual propriety,and ritual propriety is the inevitable requirement of benevolence.There are differences between the two brothers in terms of concrete argumentation that are due to discrepancies in their temperament,personality and spiritual dispositions.Their analyses of the relationship between benevolence and ritual propriety were complementary,and both contributed to the construction of Neo-Confucianism theory.
