摘　　要：T cells are crucial for immune functions to maintain health and prevent disease.T cell development occurs in a stepwise process in the thymus and mainly generates CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell subsets.Upon antigen stimulation,naïve T cells differentiate into CD4^(+)helper and CD8^(+)cytotoxic effector and memory cells,mediating direct killing.
