翻译发生学视角下中国文学英译修改过程研究——以《永远的尹雪艳》英译为例

摘　　要：聚焦收录于《台北人》中的短篇小说《永远的尹雪艳》,文章对其英译手稿中的修改处进行描写性与解释性研究,从翻译发生学的视角探索译文文本的修改与蝶变过程,以期发掘改动处表现出的特点,为中国文学英译实践提供些许借鉴。研究发现,合译团队在传达原文艺术境界的基础之上,集中于在行文节奏韵律、文化负载词以及人物形象刻画等方面做出考量,从侧面反映了团队观照英语读者期待视野的追求,以及对传播中华文化、构建英语的中国文学文化系统所做出的努力。Focusing on the short story The Eternal Snow Beauty included in Taipei People,this paper conducted descriptive and interpretative analysis of the reversions in its English translation manuscript,aiming to discover their characteristics and provide advice for Chinese literature translating.From the perspective of genetic translation studies,the research discovered that the translation team put strong emphasis on revising the word’s flow and culture-loaded words in the translation text,and whether the special personality of different characters was exactly portrayed in the translation texts.These attempts show that based on conveying the artistic realm of the original text,the translation team has tried to meet the expectations of English readers and disseminate Chinese culture,in the hope of building a Chinese literary and cultural system in the English-speaking world.
