摘  要:《木精灵》用一个来自故乡的幽灵展现纳博科夫对祖国故土的复杂感情,故事中的“怪怖”之感其核心在于故事中“我”和木精灵的自我双重性。弗洛伊德在《怪怖》中谈道,人因恐惧死亡构造出象征永恒的“双重性替身(double)”。这篇故事很好地展现了这种“双重自我替身”,表达作者作为流亡者,在新家故土之间的境况,对失去旧身份的恐惧。The Wood Sprite uses a ghost from his homeland to show Nabokov’s complex feelings about his homeland as an exile,and the text is full of dark psychedelia and a sense of‘uncanny’.The‘uncanny’lies in the‘double’of‘I’,and the wood spirit.Freud in his‘uncanny’talks about the‘double’.“From having been an assurance of immortality,it becomes the uncanny harbinger of death”.This story makes good use of this‘double’,presenting a kind of double of self and expressing his fear of losing his old identity as a foreigner in exile,in an awkward situation between his new home and his homeland.
